John S. Ferrari, P.T., M.S. (Founder, Co-Owner)

John is the co-owner of this well-respected practice, established in 1991. He graduated from Columbia University with an M.S. in physical therapy in 1986 and started his career at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center. He has over 26 years of direct patient-care experience. He has successfully applied his knowledge to the treatment of an orthopedics and neurological caseload, including low back, cervical, shoulder, hip, post-surgical cases, knee, foot, and elbow conditions. John presently coaches several youth soccer teams.

David N. Ziska, P.T. (Founder, Co-Owner)

David is the co-owner of Comprehensive Physical Therapy Associates. He earned his B.S. in Physical Therapy from Hunter College in 1986 as well as a B.S. in Biology from Syracuse University. He began his career at New York Hospital and opened his practice in 1991 with co-owner John Ferrari. Has has over 26 years experience in the treatment of musculoskeletal and neurological injuries with an emphasis on orthopedic disgnoses. He is also a basketball coach with experience in pediatric and adolescent sports injuries.

Christine J. Bergmann, P.T.

Chris graduated with a B.S. in Physical Therapy from SUNY HSC at Syracuse. She has over 26 years of experience including 15 years at New York Presbyterian Hospital in acute and outpatient care. She has a focus on the treatment of orthopedic conditions including spine and extremity injuries as well as an interest in ergonomics and women's health issues. Chris is a competitive volleyball player.

Maya Joseph, P.T., M.S.

Maya Joseph is a licensed physical therapist with a master of science degree in physical therapy. She received her master's degree from Columbia University. She has over 10 years of experience in the field of orthopaedics with an emphasis in manual therapy. Maya enjoys squash and running in her free time. Maya is a certified Pilates instructor.
